Hi there! I’m Valerie Nelson, and I sometimes go by “Snailerie” on the internet. I’m an Illustrator, Visual Artist, and Graphic Designer based in Rhode Island. 

For the past 9 years or so, I’ve worked for various clients as a Graphic Designer and occasional Art Director, but have been constantly drawing and creating my own world on the side. In 2022, I created Snailerie.co as a name and place for my personal work, characters, and stories to live. As an Illustrator & Visual Artist, I’ve recently made work for Mudpuppy (coming soon!), Motif Magazine, Todd Oldham, and a number of small independent creatives.

I also design my own stationery, greeting cards, and stickers with my characters as well, and I sell those through shop.snailerie.co.

I’m currently open to collaborations, commissions, or just exchanging silly animal videos through the internet!
